Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to aid spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (this is also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service if you use it. The privacy policy page can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.

Media

If you are a registered user and upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images containing EXIF GPS location data. Visitors to the site can download the images from the site and view the location data.

When you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to have your name, email address and website stored in a cookie. We do this for your convenience so you don’t have to re-enter this information for a new comment. These cookies are valid for one year.

How long we keep your data

When you leave a comment, that comment and its metadata are stored forever. This way we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of having to moderate them.

For users registered on our website (if applicable), we also store personal information in their user profile. All users can view, change or delete their personal information at any time (username cannot be changed). Website administrators can also view and modify this information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or you have left comments, you may request an export file of your personal data that we have on you, including any data you have given us. You may also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where we send your data

POSiTive: Once you fill out a form on our website, all your personal data are automatically transmitted to Salesforce, this is our internal CRM system for a better follow-up of your request. This data is stored by Salesforce within Europe and will only be consulted internally by us. If desired, you can request to remove your data from our systems.

Mailchimp: On our website you will be repeatedly offered the opportunity to subscribe to a specific newsletter. As soon as you send this subscription, it will be stored by Mailchimp. We have a data-processing agreement with Mailchimp. With every mailing sent by us you will get the option to update your data or unsubscribe at the bottom of the email. As soon as you unsubscribe from our email list, your data will be removed from our database.

How we secure your data

The security of your data is priority one. All data entered by you on a formulary is always encrypted. Also, all our systems are equipped with double authentication and an active monitoring system to ensure data security.

What data breach procedures we have implemented

Should a data breach occur in one of our systems, you will be sent an automatic notification within 4 hours of the data breach. This is also where our automatic mechanisms are enabled that block all traffic and can only be accessed from our defined fixed locations using a changing IP address.

If an ethical hacker is able to establish a possible data breach with us, we will also provide them with the necessary appropriate compensation with a waiver of prosecution.

Which third parties we receive data from

We do not receive data from any third parties.
